Sorry for my late reply to your questi...Hi Darren,

Sorry for my late reply to your question.

Yes, you better change the gearbox to manual, it is nearly unbreakable, lower fuel consumption (up to 700km per tank) and lower maintenance cost.

Most importantly, unleash the beast inside that V6 engine!

You can buy it from half-cut shops around Klang and it cost around RM1.5k nowadays. The gearbox code will be either 222, 312 or 322.

222 and 312 is from Mitsubishi Eterna 1.8 c.c. and 322 is from 2.0 c.c. Any of these gearboxes work fine but you can get the best fuel consumption from 222 and the best torque from 322. The 312 will be a compromise of both.

Labour charge for gearbox installation will be around RM500-700.

Cheers.Wolverinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00957039960014537645noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8336310946896157038.post-68965796408384258112009-11-22T17:09:24.161+08:002009-11-22T17:09:24.161+08:00Hi,

Am thinking of converting it to a manual transmission as mentioned in your blog.

Question is, where can I find the Mitsubishi Eterna 5 speed manual gearbox and also how much it cost?

Appreciate if you could provide some tips.

Thanks in advance!
Darren

P/S: You can also email me at darsingh69@gmail.comUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01973663715989719367noreply@blogger.com
